Class Evaluation
1.) The things i like about this class is that every time we come in here we learn something new for example like life lessons that we can use in our everyday life's. Another thing is that mr. haymore always has a positive attitude towards us and he makes us have a good day every time we walk in his class room, his class room is also fun so that's a thumbs up.

2.) There is really nothing that i don't like about the class, everything is the class is fun.

3.) Not much Mr. Haymore has been doing this for quite a while now and well his class is very well manage.

4.) A highlight for me in this class is to always stay positive and keep a good attitude, also all the rules that we learn in our daily post.

5.) I could of have done way better honestly but my motivation went away like on my 2nd month of school so yes i could of done better in this class

6.) I try to read them everyday and the day that i miss i read double because of what i miss, but yes i do try to read them the most i can.

7.) Yes i do because i believe in this thing called karma, do good things and good things will happen to you, do bad things and bad things will happen to you.

10 Keys to Personal Power

The 10 Keys to Personal Power

Brian Tracy

briantracy.com

Key 1: Clarity
"Have vision, Determine what you want to be, do or have in life. Have a sense of direction and know where you're going. If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who do."
I really really like what key 1 is saying because it's honestly true what it says about having a vision. I absolutely love the part that says that if you don't have goals you're doomed forever to work for others who do because just by reading that sentence it hits you like oh dam you know it's kinda crazy. just by reading this it makes you wake up and realize a lot of things.

Key 2: Competence
"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come you way. The harder you work the better you get."
The quote is absolutely right in my opinion, the more work you put in the more you will receive. I could actually relate to this quote because when I was learning how to play the drums that's pretty much all i ever wanted to do. Just lock my self up and practice and practice, I was about 12 when I was first learning how to play. So i would go in there to practice from 2-4 hours a day daily and when i had about 6 months playing already i was a little beast drumming machine. I would go to gigs and get paid very well, so yes I do believe that the more work you put in the better you get. All it takes is dedication and  have to stay committed to what ever you're doing.

Key 3: Concentration
"Make the best use of you time. Ask yourself "is this the best use of my time?" before you start anything."

Key 5: Creativity
"Except the fact that every human being is a genius. The hallmark of creativity is asking questions. The people who are most creative ask the most questions."

  Key 6: Consideration

"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine you success in life."

Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listing, speaking, etc."

"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you'll be the best educated person in history."

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Image result for the 7 habits of highly effective people

Habit 1: Be Proactive
"Habit is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the drivers seat of my destiny, not just a passenger."

I 100% agree with this quote because it's very true what he's saying, like for example if you choose to go thru a bad path when being young when you're older don't expect yo gave a rewarding life after. you can't slack off when you really want something. When wanting something bad you have to give it your all and make sure nothing is going to stop you from getting what you want. I also do believe that you make your own unhappiness or happiness, if you decide to be happy and that nothing will bring you down. I am pretty sure you will be happy and a warm, when seeing the good in                        everything/everyone and always giving a smile to a stranger that's having a bad day trust me i believe that you will be very happy. I do believe that we all create our own future, i don't believe that our future is given to us. You either work for it or you don't.

I will apply this to my life in a positive way creating good for my future no negative things.

"Real freedom is creative, proactive, and will take me into new territories. I am not free if my freedom is predicated on reacting to my past." Kenny Loggins

Habit 2: Being with the End in Mind

How to Remember Names

You can improve your ability to remember names if you follow these four steps:
  1. Commit. Begin by making a commitment — a conscious decision — to remember people's names. ...
  2. Concentrate. You can only remember what you observe in the first place. ...
  3. Repeat. Repetition helps engrave the name in your memory. ...
  4. Associate.

How to Win Friends and Influence People

Image result for how to make friends and influence people

Six Ways to Make People Like You....

Rule 1: Become genuinely interest in other people.
1.) "Do this and you will be welcome anywhere."
2.) "You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people that you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."
3.) "Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."

I could say that i agree with dale, reason why is because people like talking about things they like or interest them not something that they are forced to talk about. For example if i'm trying to make a friend and i'm talking to him about something i like or i know a lot about and he doesn't like it or like talking about it he's not going to enjoy talking to me because only i know about whatever i'm talking about. You really can make a lot more friends in two months than in two whole years, because if you make yourself friendly and enjoyable to talk too people will enjoy talking to you and feel comfortable coming to you whenever they have a problem with something. So little by little you start gaining more friends and good friendships that are valuable. I'm pretty sure that if you listen to what dale is telling you about gaining friends he will make you have good friendships and close ones as well. If people start seeing that you actually care about them and are there for them when they need someone when they're feeling down or something you will build great friendship with that person and a lot of trust as well.

"A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus." -Martin Luther King, Jr

Rule 2: Smile

1.) "Actions speak louder than words, and smile says, " i like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."
2.) "You don't feel like smiling? Then force yourself to smile."
3.) "It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in businesses, and is the countersign of friends."

Dale is such a brilliant guy for many reasons, for example like rule #2 he is saying that smiling is important. In fact that is very true, smiling is very important because if you don't smile or see the good side on everything you're most likely going to have a frown face or be in a bad mood all the time. Not only that but you're also missing out on the good stuff in life, we only have one life and we have to make the best out of it. When you're happy it's not just you the one that is happy but also the people around for example like your friends and family the people you spend most of your time with. When doing everything and smiling at the same time it cane make you a happier person just by sharing a nice smile that can make another person smile. So people smile for the better of the world!

'A warm smile is the universal language of kindness." -William Arthur Ward

Rule 3: Remember names

1.) "A man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
2.) " If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble."
I can actually relate to this because when knowing someone's name you can actually make a conversation with them like for example if you remember this persons names, you are headed for trouble.'

Rule 5: Talk in terms of others man's interest.

"The royal road to a man's hearts is to talk to him about the things he treasure the most."

Talking to a guy about what he likes can make him like talking to you and

Right not i really have nothing in my mind, well i kinda do but they have bugged us so much in school already about it that when i think about is it's just stressful because sometimes you don't know what exactly to do with your life and people already expect from you what you want to do with your life. what i'm thinking about is college, well i'm not a very smart kid so i will be attending a community college. Now that they make us think what we wanna do with our life's it's kinda difficult because you could like something and like in 5 months from now i may not even like it so i really have to choose wisely what i want to study. I guess that's pretty much it i don't have much to talk about right now. Usually by t he end of the day i'm just thinking that i wanna go home to do my homework and do what i wanna do after. Now i just have to watch the time go by slowly, one thing i noticed is that if you pay attention to the time the time the time will pass by very slow. but if you just let it be and let it pass on it's own its going to go by really quick.

One cool event that happens every Thursday nights are drag races over in Irwindale ca. its 1/8 of a mile. All types of cars show up there import/muscle/domestic/super cars. All types, you just line them up and the fastest to the finish line is the winner. I've been wanting to take my car but since i only have my permit and im still 16 i cant go into the track to race. I at least have to be 21 and over to go race but other than that i cant
Right now what im thinking of is either to do my car e85 or to either put a manual transmission. I'm pretty lost because the cost on both is practically the same, but i feel that driving manual will be way more fun than driving a automatic. But then again in the city driving manual is more of a hassle because of the traffic and how over populated Huntington Park is. Not only that but i feel that ill get more speeding tickets with a manual transmission because you're basically controlling the car, you are the one directing a 350hp machine that goes from 0 to 60 in 4.0 sec flat. Not only do i wanna do that but i also want to weld my differential to make it sorta of a LSD diff so it can burn rubber with both tires not just one side.

" The Six Attitudes of High Achievers"

"The Six Attitudes of High Achievers"

     High Achievers........

 Make no small plans

  •                           When making plans for your life you need to thing big, thinking big is the key to everything. If you think average you're just going to be a average person, thinking big is what's going to get you up there and make you unique. Its going to make you be your own person and make you stronger everyday. Have you ever heard that saying that says "go big or go home" ? think about that when you want to make a plan and you feel that you can so better than average. You always have to think outside the box,be creative and when doing something always do it big.

"Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men's and probably them self's may not be realized."

Do what they fear

  •                          Doing something that they fear says a lot about someone, means to achieve your fears. If you are not willing to do what you fear then your fear are in control of our life's not us.  High achiever will not surrender against there fears. They will keep trying until they overcome them. Many common fear people have are rejection, illness, poverty, death or even loss of loved ones and etc. For example people are afraid that they will get a illness like a few month ago a lot of peoples fear was getting Ebola. That illness caused many people to stay home and not go out of the country, or state. Many of those people surrendered because they didn't overcome the fear and they preferred to stay at home when you could have wear some protection.

"Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones." - Thich Nhat Hanh

Are willing to prepare
  •                        Those who prepare before they do anything else are always the ones to succeed in life the others that don't decide to prepare they fall behind in whatever their doing for example when your going to take a test you have to study and be prepared for any questions that there might be in the quiz or test because if you don't prepare for a test or quiz you can actually fail that test so its better for you to be prepared and you'll always succeed.

"If you're walking down the right path and you're willing to keep walking, eventually you'll make progress." Barack Obama
Image result for are willing to prepare

             Are Willing to risk failure

  •                        Risking a failure isn't easy at all it's either have it all or lose it all, the only problem is that you don't know if you're going to have it all or not. Most people don't like taking risk for the simple reason that they feel comfortable of what they already have. Also because it probably took them a really long time to get where they're right now and they don't wanna risk it all because it took them a really long time to get there and don't wanna lose it so easy. But then there's other people that even tho it took them a really long time to get to where they're at they risk it all because they're not afraid of losing. Its because they know they have the skill of achieving things quick and if they really want something they will accomplish what they want doesn't matter what gets in their way. There is always going to be more type of people out there but these two types of people are the most common one's their is.

“Don't listen to the malicious comments of those friends who, never taking any risks themselves, can only see other people's failures.”
― Paulo Coelho

Image result for are willing to take risk failure

Are Teachable

  •                      I think that being teachable is a god thing because you're teaching other people out there skills that they will later on need in their life. Not only that but you're also increasing their knowledge which is good because that's something that every person needs. I guess that being a teacher can be a really nice job because your're teaching kids how to grow up, pass things from their ancestors, You know a lot of interesting things that will catch a lot of kids attention and make them smarter. Most people love their job for the same reason that they feel that they're doing good.I know a couple of teachers that they love their job and wouldn't change it for the world because of the same reason.

What I believe is that all clear-minded people should remain two things throughout their lifetimes: Curious and teachable.”
― Roger Ebert

Image result for are teachable

Have heart

  •                          High achievers always have heart, why do i say that because achieving something isn't easy. When people achieve stuff that they've been working hard it's a amazing feeling for the reason that having a good heart is one of the best feelings. Having heart can mean a lot of things, for example when saying that someone has a good heart means that they are very kind and nice to people. Not only that but also that for example lets say that you're having a bad day and here come a very happy person with a good heart and makes you  smile and makes your day up that also another example of having a good heart. Another example of having a good heart is if a person has too much of something and see's that someone is missing what this person has he kindly gives it too them because it came out of his good heart. Not so people could say that he has a good heart but for the reason that he has a good heart and feel good of himself.

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Helen Keller

Image result for have heart

Final Reflection
  •                        From all the 6 attitudes the one that i'm going to consider the most is "are willing to risk failure." The reason why i'm always going to remember that one is because if we don't wanna take the risk of failing we will never succeed. We will never succeed because you don't come out that little comfort spot you continue to live in. Not only that but if you never try to do better you will never succeed, sure you will fail a couple of times but that's part of the whole process. I personally think that all of these 6 attitudes will forever be stuck with me and try to use them to achieve all my goals that i have plan for myself.
