The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Image result for the 7 habits of highly effective people

Habit 1: Be Proactive
"Habit is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the drivers seat of my destiny, not just a passenger."

I 100% agree with this quote because it's very true what he's saying, like for example if you choose to go thru a bad path when being young when you're older don't expect yo gave a rewarding life after. you can't slack off when you really want something. When wanting something bad you have to give it your all and make sure nothing is going to stop you from getting what you want. I also do believe that you make your own unhappiness or happiness, if you decide to be happy and that nothing will bring you down. I am pretty sure you will be happy and a warm, when seeing the good in                        everything/everyone and always giving a smile to a stranger that's having a bad day trust me i believe that you will be very happy. I do believe that we all create our own future, i don't believe that our future is given to us. You either work for it or you don't.

I will apply this to my life in a positive way creating good for my future no negative things.

Habit 2: Being with the End in Mind

How to Win Friends and Influence People

Six Ways to Make People Like You....

Rule 1: Become genuinely interest in other people.
1.) "Do this and you will be welcome anywhere."
2.) "You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people that you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."
3.) "Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."

I could say that i agree with dale, reason why is because people like talking about things they like or interest them not something that they are forced to talk about. For example if i'm trying to make a friend and i'm talking to him about something i like or i know a lot about and he doesn't like it or like talking about it he's not going to enjoy talking to me because only i know about whatever i'm talking about. You really can make a lot more friends in two months than in two whole years, because if you make yourself friendly and enjoyable to talk too people will enjoy talking to you and feel comfortable coming to you whenever they have a problem with something. So little by little you start gaining more friends and good friendships that are valuable. I'm pretty sure that if you listen to what dale is telling you about gaining friends he will make you have good friendships and close ones as well. If people start seeing that you actually care about them and are there for them when they need someone when they're feeling down or something you will build great friendship with that person and a lot of trust as well.

"A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus." -Martin Luther King, Jr

Rule 2: Smile

1.) "Actions speak louder than words, and smile says, " i like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."
2.) "You don't feel like smiling? Then force yourself to smile."
3.) "It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in businesses, and is the countersign of friends."

Dale is such a brilliant guy for many reasons, for example like rule #2 he is saying that smiling is important. In fact that is very true, smiling is very important because if you don't smile or see the good side on everything you're most likely going to have a frown face or be in a bad mood all the time. Not only that but you're also missing out on the good stuff in life, we only have one life and we have to make the best out of it. When you're happy it's not just you the one that is happy but also the people around for example like your friends and family the people you spend most of your time with. When doing everything and smiling at the same time it cane make you a happier person just by sharing a nice smile that can make another person smile. So people smile for the better of the world!

Rule 3: Remember names

1.) "A man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
2.) " If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble."
I can actually relate to this because when knowing someone's name you can actually make a conversation with them like for example if you remember this persons names, you are headed for trouble.'

Rule 5: Talk in terms of others man's interest.

"The royal road to a man's hearts is to talk to him about the things he treasure the most."

Talking to a guy about what he likes can make him like talking to you and

Right not i really have nothing in my mind, well i kinda do but they have bugged us so much in school already about it that when i think about is it's just stressful because sometimes you don't know what exactly to do with your life and people already expect from you what you want to do with your life. what i'm thinking about is college, well i'm not a very smart kid so i will be attending a community college. Now that they make us think what we wanna do with our life's it's kinda difficult because you could like something and like in 5 months from now i may not even like it so i really have to choose wisely what i want to study. I guess that's pretty much it i don't have much to talk about right now. Usually by t he end of the day i'm just thinking that i wanna go home to do my homework and do what i wanna do after. Now i just have to watch the time go by slowly, one thing i noticed is that if you pay attention to the time the time the time will pass by very slow. but if you just let it be and let it pass on it's own its going to go by really quick.

One cool event that happens every Thursday nights are drag races over in Irwindale ca. its 1/8 of a mile. All types of cars show up there import/muscle/domestic/super cars. All types, you just line them up and the fastest to the finish line is the winner. I've been wanting to take my car but since i only have my permit and im still 16 i cant go into the track to race. I at least have to be 21 and over to go race but other than that i cant
Right now what im thinking of is either to do my car e85 or to either put a manual transmission. I'm pretty lost because the cost on both is practically the same, but i feel that driving manual will be way more fun than driving a automatic. But then again in the city driving manual is more of a hassle because of the traffic and how over populated Huntington Park is. Not only that but i feel that ill get more speeding tickets with a manual transmission because you're basically controlling the car, you are the one directing a 350hp machine that goes from 0 to 60 in 4.0 sec flat. Not only do i wanna do that but i also want to weld my differential to make it sorta of a LSD diff so it can burn rubber with both tires not just one side.
